FATE: The Cursed King begins, as all FATE games do, with a hero venturing forth to seek adventure. In this case, the hero investigates a small cave and inadvertently releases an evil being called T’Kala into the world, who must of course be stopped. Like the games before it, The Cursed King features Diablo-style dungeon crawl gameplay where your hero interacts with various people to receive quests, battles enemies with weapons and spells, and collects increasingly powerful equipment and artifacts.
